What is Moravida Festival?

Join us for our SECOND annual Moravida Festival! The word Moravida was derived from the term commemorating life! Our festival has been molded by the traditional holiday Dia de los Muertos, also known as Day of the Dead, and is a family celebration in honor of our ancestors. There will be activities for all ages, live entertainment & dancing, vendors, food trucks, community altar, and more!

A key component at any Día de los Muertos celebration is a community altar, where we share ofrenda, offerings, and come together to recognize and joyfully honor the lives of loved ones who are no longer with us. This will be a shared space for healing, comfort, and reflection.

We invite you to visit and contribute your own ofrenda to the altar. We have collaborated with Decoraciones Hermosillo to create this community altar.

We ask that those who wish to contribute to the altar please register ahead of time.

Vendor Fees:
Community Outreach $100 8x10
Retail Vendor $150 8x10

If accepted the Grant County Fairgrounds will notify you by mail and/ or e-mail accompanied with a contract and invoice. All vendors will be required to obtain a Certificate of Insurance that lists Grant County Fairgrounds as additionally insured. Insurance requirements will be sent to vendors upon approval of participation.
