Rental Rates

  • To reserve a building we require a $300 non-refundable reservation fee at the time of booking, along with a signed application and rental agreement which can be found here. The reservation fee will be deducted from your total balance.

  • All rentals are required to pay a $750 damage deposit, which will be refunded within 30 days after your event, so long as the building is cleaned and there is no damage to the property or the building.

  • If you are supplying/ providing alcoholic beverages you will be required to obtain a banquet permit and security is required. Security will be scheduled by the Grant County Fairgrounds- fees are listed below. Click here to apply for a banquet permit online.

  • All rentals are required to provide certificate of liability insurance. Click here to view insurance requirements. If your insurance provider cannot meet the set requirements, you may contact any agent. Here are a couple popular options that our clients have used in the past. Event Helper & Wed Safe.

  • Set- up and clean- up days are included in the cost of the rental. Set- up hours begin at 8am the day prior to your event and end at 5pm. Clean- up hours begin at 8am to noon the day after your event. As an added precaution due to COVID: WE HAVE PURCHASED A ROOM FOGGER TO SANITIZE AFTER EVERY EVENT.

  • Your total balance and all required certificates, permits, contracts, and applications are due no later than 14 days prior to your event. We reserve the right to cancel your event if these requirements are not met.

Our facilities are centrally located in Washington State and can provide the perfect indoor or outdoor venue for any competitive event or exhibition. On average we host 30+ equine shows and races a year ranging from 10 to 500+ horses.

Hourly Arena Rentals

Providing the Pavilion is not booked for an event.

Location: Harwood Pavilion
Grounds will be worked up as determined necessary by Fairgrounds Staff.

Scheduling: Private rides must be scheduled 48 hours in advance with the Event Coordinator, Darci Armstrong via e-mail or phone 509-765-3581 ext. 4615.

Cost: $75 per hour
Minimum 4 hours- maximum 7 hours

Basic Rules: Private rides are not intended for official club meets, private lessons, or clinics of any sort.

Each rider must complete the following:
  • All participants must check in with the Fairgrounds office M-F 8:00 am- 4:30 pm to sign required forms prior to their first ride.
  • Contract which will include a Hold Harmless and arena rules acknowledgement including the WA State Equine Limited Liability Law.(Co-signed by parent/legal guardian if under 18 y/o)
  • Affidavit that any Equine shall be up to date on all vaccinations and is in good health.

Security will be on the premises 2 hour before the event begins and the last one to leave and lock up the building. Additional fees will be charged to the client for any overages.
