Homebrew Beer Competition

General Rules

Do you brew beer for fun or as part of a hobby? Enter your best brews in the Grant County Fair Homebrew Competition!

Exhibitors must register online and deliver entries to the Fair office by July 21^stat 5 pm.

All entries become the property of the Grant County Fair. No entries will be returned whether received late or otherwise.

Persons entering their beer are responsible for entering them in the correct class. Beers entered in the wrong class will not be judged.

Deliver two (2) bottles for each beer entry to the Grant County Fair Office at 3953 Airway Dr NE by July 21^st at 5 pm.
Each bottle must be 12 to 16 ounces in volume, brown or green glass, and must be free of all labels. (Use of brown bottles is encouraged as it better protects your beer from light than green glass.) Raised lettering on the bottle is acceptable, but not encouraged.
All entries must be accompanied by a bottle ID form provided by the Grant County Fair. These forms can be picked up at the Fair office during normal business hours or printed via the link provided.
Rubberband the bottle ID form to each bottle. Please do NOT tape the bottle ID form to the bottle or enclose in plastic.
Only standard bottle caps are accepted.
Bottles not meeting these requirements may be disqualified.

Entry fees are waived for 2023.

This event is open to all Grant County residents- Anyone of legal age 21+ may enter this competition.
Limit one entry per class.
Your homebrew may not have been brewed at any place that brews beverages for any commercial purpose, whether for commercial research, production or any other purpose, including brew-on-premise establishments.

Judging will take place prior to the Grant County Fair. Date to be determined.
