WCHA has a long history of providing high quality cutting horse events fulfilling the needs of cutters of all levels showing all levels of cutting horses from futurity 3 year olds to Open weekend horses.
Weekend shows are offered monthly beginning in early spring and ending in the fall with the weekend shows finals and the annual Limited Age Event.
While WCHA strives to hold shows in many regions of Washington State, the historical home base is in the south central region known for a plentiful cattle supply.
WCHA holds the distinction of producing some of the highest quality cutting horse shows in the Northwest with the best cattle available in some of the Northwest's best facilities. Quality shows are the number one priority while meeting the needs of the membership. Known for a family friendly atmosphere, WCHA cutters often span several generations. Classes offered in the weekend shows include the typical NCHA approved classes plus both an Open & Non-pro Derby, $1,500 Novice Horse Class and a $500 Rider Class. Part of the WCHA philosophy is to provide a place to season the novice horses and to provide a jumping in point for the beginning cutter. WCHA is truly a grassroots affiliate understanding that those coming in at the entry level are the most important part of the affiliate base.
New members are always welcome to join in the up coming season!
